BEWARE THE HARE! Is he or isn't he a vampire? Before it's too late, Harold the dog and Chester the cat must find out the truth about the newest pet in the Monroe household -- a suspiciouslooking bunny with unusual habits...and fangs! This book is told from a dog's point of view, and it starts when the Monrow family finds a rabbit at a Dracula movie, and brings it home. Then, strange things begin happening around the house. The dog and cat try to stop Bunnicula by putting garlic around the house and making sure it never leaves its cage, but eventually Bunnicula starts looking sick. The dog and cat realize that it's harmless, and they all become friends. Reason for Recommendation: This book is a good book because it's both funny and cute, because 2 animals tell the story. It is also mysterious because of all the weird things that are happening with Bunnicula.
