🌟 Recommendation Details

Koala is an animal that lives in Australia. Koalas are called marsupials. Marsupials are animals that carry their babies in a pouch. Koalas' bodies are good for climbing trees. Koalas live in a territory that includes about 100 trees. Male koalas have a scent patch on their chest. They rub it on the trees to keep other koalas from entering their territory. Koalas eat five hours every day. They eat eucalyptus leaves. A baby koala is blind and does not have any fur. After the joey comes out of the pouch, it learns to hang and climb trees. Koalas are in danger because humans have cut down a lot of trees. They can get hurt by cars or get hurt by dogs. There are hospitals just for koalas. Road signs also help drivers to watch out for koalas. Reason for Recommendation: This non-fiction book presents interesting information about koalas, their habitat, where they live, what they eat and what they do. It has beautiful photos of koalas.
