The book is about a boy named Frank Whose motto is" honesty is the best policy" .He said Dotty's freckles look like the big dipper, he told Carl's her singing was kind of shrieky. And he told his teacher her breath smells. Even when he met the principal, he told him that his hair looked like his pet weasel. His honest words made his friends and teachers angry. Frank was very sad and confused. He asked for help from his grandfather, who told him that even if it was the truth , it would be better to add more sugar, and less pepper. Finally Frank learned how to speak the truth without using language that made people angry. In this way, he has good friends again. I recommend this book because when you sometimes tell the truth you can be a little rude or you can hurt others feelings, so you have to learn how to tell the truth without the listener getting angry.
