📖 Wonder

August Pullman — nicknamed Auggie — is starting his first year of 5th grade, and he's nervous. He's never been in school before, always homeschooled. It's not because he's not talented enough (as a matter of fact, he aced all the tests to get into Beecher Prep, his school), but it's because of his looks. Auggie was born with an unusual and remarkable face that is unique and beautiful, but when Auggie attends his new school, he is bullied by many others, including Juliet, his major nemesis. But where there's darkness, Auggie finds light — Jack and Summer, his two new best friends that stick up for him and have his back. Who'll win this 5th grade year? Or will some other grades get involved as well? I recommend this book because it is an example of how someone's actions and words can destroy or build up your self-confidence. It also portrays friendship and anti-bullying, a common problem in our world.

这是一本会让你想不停阅读的惊悚书。这本书我在五年级的时候读过,也非常喜欢,爱不释手。
