📖 Lucky Strike

Nate Harlow has never had a lucky day in his life. His best friend, Genesis Beam, believes in science and logic, and she doesn't think for one second that there's such a thing as luck, good or bad. But on his birthday, he is, (unluckily) struck by lightning! By some miracle, though, Nate survives, and the strike seems to have changed his luck. Suddenly, Nate finds himself the center of attention, the most popular kid at school! As a hurricane draws close to the shores of Paradise Beach, though, Nate and Genesis may need more than just good luck to save their friendship and their town: They need a miracle. Reason for Recommendation: This book is about how people's life can suddenly change, and how friendship is important when getting through hard times. This book also has many fun and interesting parts such as when Nate wins every prize in a carnival booth. Extreme Animals Author: Davies, Nicola
