🌟 Recommendation Details

"Arnie the Doughnut" is one of those stories that you can't forget easily as this story has a particular, unique, stance to it. Arnie, the main character, is a doughnut which is about to be eaten by the customer, Mr. Bing. Arnie is afraid of his impending demise and is able to convince Mr. Bing not to eat him. Arnie and Mr. Bing then work together to make up ideas of what Arnie could do instead of being eaten, and thus, this story teaches multiple lessons. The first message that this story gives out is that you should be kind to everyone and that you should do things to others that you would deem acceptable if it happens to you. The same lesson is present here as Arnie the Doughnut doesn't want to be eaten and definitely neither does Mr. Bing. Thus, this story teaches the Golden Rule. The second message embedded in this story is that albeit you may not get everything you want, you can compromise and negotiate with the opposing party. This shows an important lesson as you can't simply get everything you want, but you can compromise and get close to your goal. Thus, I would highly recommend this lesson-stuffed story that teaches kids important lessons like the Golden Rule and the power of negotiation. "Arnie the Doughnut" will forever be engraved in my memory for its important morals.
