The wonderfully crafted story by H.G. Wells, "The Country of the Blind", tells of a poor and one-eye blinded farmer named Eduardo, dreaming of being in love. Frustrated with his problems, he turns his back on the world, and risks his life to find a mythical village. I believe that this should be a recommended story as it is crafted about Eduardo believing that just because he can see means that he has a higher advantage over the people, and that they should follow him as a leader. But despite that they are blind, they aren't anymore disadvantaged, and this shows that in the real world, we should not frown upon disabled ones.
