📖 Nosy Parker

Audrey Parker is a spy, well at least that was how she justified her nosiness when she moved to Montreal in 1967. Having a new crowd of people to spy on Audrey figures that she will definitely have a murder mystery to uncover in this new town. But only one mystery really matters to her: her mother. Who was she? How did she die? Why won't her father ever talk about her? Nosy Parker was nominated as Global & Mail best-selling Leslie Crewe's novel. Balancing humor and sadness as expertly as ever, author Lesley Crewe ― who has so often captured Cape Breton perfectly on the page ― turns her incisive observations for the first time to the NDG of the 1960s, where she grew up. Readers are able to experience the very vulnerable state of the character Audrey Parker. " Twelfth Author: Janet Key
