📖 Peril at Price Manor

Halle, a teen who wants to be an actor, more precisely, the "Scream Queen" for the director Maximus Price. Maximus Price is a horror movie director, prankster, and father of twins. The twins are Paisley and Argyle Price are just twins that live in the manor. One day, Halle wants to deliver flowers to Maximus Price, but just before she reaches the house, she discovers that there is a staff with tredacupuses (octopus with 13 tentacles) on the staff's face that made the staff turn zombie-like. The twins, however, think it's just an early birthday prank because their birthday is tomorrow, until they find Halle. The twins at first, thought it was another part of the birthday prank, but after Halle told them what happened, the twins started to get serious. The twins couldn't find their dad. They journey through various parts of the house to get away from the parasites and find their dad, Maximus Price. Later, they find clues about the parasites like they like cold temperatures. They also find that they can't see, so they rely on hearing. Read the book to find out how they find their dad and if they succeed! I recommend this book to those who like adventures and mysteries.
