📖 Safiyyah's War

This book is about a girl named Safiyyah. She lived in Paris during WWII. Although they live peacefully, they still fear a Nazi invasion. As time goes by, the Nazis finally break through the defenses and begin invading, but people are not on high alert until the bombing starts. Safiyyah survives the bombing and reunites with her family, but the trouble has not ended because the Germans have now taken over Paris, and Safiyyah's life begins to change. From discovering her father's secrets to working against the Nazis, her biggest challenge is helping Jewish people escape from the Nazis. The reason why I picked this book is because it shows how people found ways to trick the Nazis and helped many innocent people.
