The Bad Seed's favorite holiday of the year is the evening of Halloween. However, things are not going quite right for Bad Seed when he cannot find a unique costume. On his sunflower, he thinks that everyone takes Halloween seriously, so he needs to outdress everyone else to be the best. Then, the grumpy and cranky Bad Seed produces a selfish plan to trick everyone that Halloween has been postponed to tomorrow, so he can have more time to produce a costume. However, his selfish plan is interrupted by a pumpkin seed, who sees the Bad Seeds and shares some positivity about the truth. This makes the Bad Seed consider his actions, so he tells everyone Halloween is back in action, and everyone has a blast! Reason for Recommendation: This book teaches children an important lesson of togetherness!
