Everything is perfect, Herriet's taken notes of the new teachers at her school as to become their favorite student and has a supporting boyfriend, Nick. Well, almost everything, that is if you don't count going back to school and having to face her all-time nemesis/bully, Alexa. Just when Harriet and her best friend Nat are celebrating the fact that they got accepted to college, Alexa has to spoil the mood. Annabel (Herriet's mom) accidentally slipped Harriet's diary into her bag which dropped out and Alexa picked it up. At that moment Herriet feels like she's going to throw up, as all her precious and slightly embarrassing life contents are recorded in that diary. Alexa leaks the information to everyone and mocks her boyfriend. Pretending to be on a call with Nick, she avoids talking with her family and hides under her bed. Waking up the next morning, she's greeted with a shocking bombshell. Her family's moving to America. However, this place is her home, where she grew up and where she had her happiest memories. How could she leave? How would she remain friends with Nat? Will a long distance relationship with Nick work out? I highly recommend Picture Perfect because it depicts the changes in Herriets life and the relationships.
