🌟 Recommendation Details

Projekt-1065: A Novel of World War II tells the story of a young teenager living in Berlin, Germany. Michael O'Shaughnessy, originally from Ireland, has moved to Berlin with his parents, who are Irish ambassadors to Nazi Germany. To gain insider knowledge, Michael joins the Hitler Youth while maintaining a facade of loyalty. One day, Michael's Hitler Youth group is tasked with capturing a shot-down British plane. Michael cleverly hides the pilot in a haystack and that night, successfully escorts him to the Irish embassy with his parents. It is then Michael discovers that Simon, the British pilot, is attempting to photograph a secret Nazi jet plane. This jet could potentially destroy and outmaneuver other aircraft. Michael has a friend whose father works in the Nazi Engineering Department. Using his eidetic memory, Michael visits his friend's house daily to gather photographic images of the jet's blueprints. Now, the fate of the world rests on his shoulders. Will he manage to deliver the blueprints to the Allies in time, or will Hitler's ambition of world domination become a reality? I highly recommend Project 1065 due to its thrilling, nail-biting narrative and its profound exploration of themes such as sacrifice, bravery, and resistance. The novel's gripping format keeps readers on edge while diving deeply into those who courageously fought against oppression. If you enjoy historical fiction and want to learn more about those who fought against evil, this book is just for you.
