📖 Dog on It

Chet and Bernie are crime partners for life! But here's the catch: Only one of them is a human… because Chet is a dog. And, the entire story is told from Chet's perspective. "But how?!?!" You exclaim. "Dogs can't speak." Yes, exactly, which is what makes this book so interesting. Essentially, Dog on It is a journey to a dog's brain, IF they were a human. You get the same thoughts you would if it was a normal book, except sometimes there are adlibs on Chet's part — such as him being distracted by a squirrel mid sentence —, making the book so much more exciting and funny. Anyway, back to the story. Bernie and Chet are here to investigate a teenage girl's disappearance — a potential kidnapping after she hadn't arrived home after school. It gets even WEIRDER when Madison, the teenage girl, shows up . . . and then DISAPPEARS AGAIN. The second time, Bernie and Chet go all out and drive across roads and deserts to try and solve this mystery. This book isn't too special on the plot, or anything like that. It's quite simply put, an ordinary book. BUT! This book is told from a DOG'S perspective. THAT'S what makes this book so popular and widespread across young adults. I heavily recommend this book, not for the plot, but for the vibes.
