🌟 Recommendation Details

(Everfound is the third book in the Skinjacker Trilogy.) Allie is strapped to the front of a train, desperate to escape. Mikey is trying to rescue her while dragging an incoherent Nick with him, desperate to rescue her. And Milos, the provisional leader of the Afterlights, is trying to keep the souls from leaving the train, desperate to keep things under control. It seems that almost everyone important in Everlost is desperate for something. And all leads back to Mary Hightower, the Easter Witch, actual leader of the Afterlights—although she is on a temporary, nine month leave. After getting brought to the realm of the living, she convinced Milos, the skinjacker, to kill her again and grab her soul before it goes to the light at the end of the tunnel. So she's back in Everlost, except it's going to be a few months before she wakes back up. In the thrilling end of the Skinjacker Trilogy, readers will be incapacitated by the nail-biting twists and turns that Shushterman is so keen at writing. With an uneasy alliance formed, a scar wraith arrested, and a chocolate ogre who regains his senses, Everfound will keep readers on the edge of their seats. As someone who enjoys reading books where the author explores what happens in the afterlife, the Skinjacker Trilogy was definitely something I'd recommend.
