📖 The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie

The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie follows eleven-year-old Flavia de Luce as she conducts a murder investigation. When Flavia accidentally stumbles upon the body of a deceased stranger in her family's backyard, the curious girl attempts to get answers from her father and the police. Becoming frustrated when she was told she was too young to know about such tragedies (and the insinuation that her father was guilty), Flavia begins her own independent and secret investigation. I recommend this novel as a fun and captivating, fast-paced mystery. The complex story gradually unfolds itself, keeping the reader enticed until the very last details are revealed at the very end.
