📖 The Night Before New Year's

The kids decided to stay up until midnight during the night before New Year's. For this one special evening, their parents said yes. They drove to the store and bought party supplies. At the big late-night feast, everyone made a new year's resolution, except for the boy who could not come up with one. After the dinner, they played games and shared fun memories. When they got sleepy, they went out for a walk and then went in to watch the crowd gathering at Times Square. The little brother and the puppy couldn't help falling asleep. The brothers went upstairs for a nap but woke up to find it was sunny and bright. Then the boy had his resolution, "Stay up for next New Year's Eve"!
