Han Li is chosen to be the student of one of the smartest scholars of all, Lin Cho. At first Han Li of course is delighted and excited. Later he finds out that Lin Cho is not really that smart. Han Li does not understand why Lin Cho needs to go outside and hear in order to come up with a poem. When Lin Cho is required to make a poem and painting for the emperor of china. However when Lin Cho falls into a dangerous fever the day before he is to present the poem to the emperor. Instead of letting the doctor come in, Han Li decides to finish the painting and poem on his own, thinking he is the best poet and painter. Will Han Li learn a lesson about his arrogance? What will happen to Lin Cho? Will he still live? Recommendation Reason: this book teaches us a lesson about not being arrogant or too confident. It has a wonderful theme and at the same time is interesting to read.
