🌟 Recommendation Details

Edwina Booth — daughter of the well-known actor Edwin Booth and niece of the infamous John Wilkes Booth, who shot and killed Abraham Lincoln. When asked about her notorious uncle, Edwina has rehearsed lines to give. After all, she has no part in his disreputable "legacy": she was only three when he was captured and murdered. Instead, Edwina glories in her father's success and hopes to carve her own life. But when things begin to spiral out of control, can Edwina choose her own destiny instead of having one selected for her? I recommend this book because it stresses the importance of individuality and love. Throughout the book, Edwina has to choose between herself and the others around her. However, this book is written in a different style than some may be used to, and this book can be dry at times. Still, this book is a good read for those fascinated by Edwina's journey through her life and heart.
