Watch out! Three mice are running away from a hungry cat. Along the way, they find piles and piles of shapes, which they can build stuff out of. Soon, they are busy with making a house, a tree, the sun, a fish, and a wagon. However, they accidentally make a huge cat and attract the attention of the hungry cat, and with that, they are on the chase again! Finding another pile of shapes, the three mice quickly brainstorm an idea to make three fake mice to trick the cat into following them.Reason for Recommendation: This book has simple sentences and a fun plot with plenty of things made of shapes. The creative mice could help young readers boost their creativity with shapes and building all sorts of things.
