The End by Lemony Snicket is the final book in a Series of Unfortunate Events. It starts off in the sea as Count Olaf is stranded with the Baudelaires on a boat, when a huge storm suddenly hits them. They end up on an island with locals, led by a tyrannical leader named Ishmael. Before long, some other things wash up on the island after another storm, including a pregnant Kit Snicket and the friendly(to the Baudelaires) Viper from Uncle Monty's house. Count Olaf uses another disguise to fool the islanders, but he gets caught and caged up. The Baudelaires then learn that the islanders are trying to commit mutiny against Ishmael. They also uncover the island's history and discover very surprising things about it and its connection to their parents. What finally happens to Count Olaf, and what exactly do the Baudelaires learn about the island? Read this exciting and adventurous story to find out! I recommend this book for its ending and how Count Olaf wasn't able to fool everyone, just like all the other times in this book series.
