🌟 Recommendation Details

The Carnivorous Carnival by Lemony Snicket is another very unfortunate book in A Series of Unfortunate Events. The book starts dramatically, as after the most recent book of the series, the Baudelaire orphans are in their cruel and deceitful relative's trunk. Their relative, Count Olaf, is a money-hungry man who, along with his associates, has been chasing the three Baudelaire orphans(Sunny, Klaus, and Violet) ever since he laid eyes on them, developing cunning plans to capture them and their inherited fortune after the orphans' parents died in a house fire. Back to the trunk, where, after some brilliant lockpicking by Violet, the orphans managed to escape the car and ended up in a carnival. They used some disguises in Count Olaf's trunk, effectively hiding from their enemies' grasp, for now, making themselves look like carnival workers. At the carnival, the orphans must perform carnival shows with starving lions also present. Also, they find a thing or two about the "V.F.D". How long can the Baudelaires keep their disguises in check before they get busted? Make sure to read this very exciting but horrifying book, especially the ending! As reiterated and reminded by the author Lemony Snicket, don't pick up this if you expect a happy ending, as in A Series of "Unfortunate" Events, there aren't any.
