Building Books by Megan Wagner Lloyd is about how two siblings called Owen and Katie push their boundaries to try new hobbies. Katie loves to build with her building blocks, and Owen enjoys reading books. Both insist only what they like is interesting and what other likes is not. One day, when they were fighting, the librarian came out and told Katie to read and Owen to shelve books. Katie gets bored while reading the books, so she decides to build with them. When her castle fell over, she is attracted by a booked named "Castle Engineering". After finishing reading this book, Katie continues with others and becomes intrigued by the books. While Katie is reading, Owen has discovered that it is fun to balance books on top of each other. I recommend this book as it is an enjoyable one to read with repeated patterns, and it showcases the pleasant surprise of trying something new.
