Alyssa Satin Capucilli AR Level: 0.9 Word Count: 109 "Here comes the school bus! Stay here Biscuit. Dogs don't go to school." Summer has ended and school is back in session, and Biscuit is determined to find out what happens at a school. The only problem is that no pets are allowed at school, and Biscuit is a dog. Still, he managed to find the school, and Biscuit was amazed by all the balls bouncing in the gym, words in a story by the kids, and even food in the cafeteria. When Biscuit wandered into a classroom, however, he got caught by the teacher, but surprisingly, everybody including the teacher loved Biscuit and all gave him big hugs. Reason for Recommendation: Perfect for students going to preschool, kindergarten, or first grade, "Biscuit Goes to School" includes sight words and sweet illustrations of the iconic children's book character, Biscuit.
