📖 Othello

Othello is another one of Shakespeare's famous tragedies. Othello, a war general, is convinced that his wife, Desdemona, is unfaithful to him. Consequently, he murders his wife and then commits suicide. However, the truth was that Desdemona was never unfaithful to Othello and that it was all a ruse fabricated by Lago, a soldier who blamed Othello for being overlooked for a promotion. I recommend Othello as a tale of caution for acting rashly and believing rumors without merit. Additionally, reading Othello enhances a reader's familiarity with Shakespeare's one-of-a-kind writing style and his utilization of rhetoric.
