🌟 Recommendation Details
In the world of the book "Frog and Toad are Friends", the two friends, frog and toad, are the main characters. The two are funny, and they learn a thing or two in the story. I would recommend this book because it is a book that can prepare 1st and 2nd grade to read chapter books and eventually even more complex books too. Also, there is a message that should be obvious, "friendship" and a bit of loyalty too.

Story No 1: Frog ran to Toad's house to try to wake him up from hibernation. Toad didn't want to wake up and asked Frog to wake him up in May, then he went back to sleep. Frog ripped Toad's calendar until it turned to May. Frog woke up Toad and said it was already May. Toad climbed out of bed and went out to see what spring was like. Story No 2: One summer day, Frog was feeling sick. Toad noticed that Frog was looking a little too green, so he tried to think of a story to make Frog feel better as Frog sat in bed. He did a lot of things like banging his head on the wall just to think of one, but made himself feel sick. So it ended up that Frog told him a story. Story No 3: One day Toad lost his button. Frog was trying his best to find it for him. Toad got mad that none of them were his and stormed back to his house. He then found that his button was right in front of him. He thought about how hard Frog was trying to find his button, so he took all the buttons Frog found for him and sewed them back on to his jacket. Reason for Recommendation: This book shows that it is good to be a nice friend. Frog and Toad enjoyed time together and cared and helped each other, showing good friendship. The book also has nice, colorful pictures.
