📖 The War of the Worlds

The War of the Worlds tells of an invasion by Martians on Earth in tall machines with narrow tentacle-like legs. The aliens eat their human victims while their Martian vegetation infects the world with a red weed. Eventually, the Martians start to die out because of the bacteria on Earth. As on Mars they didn't have any bacteria, the most harmless bacteria to humans would become 100% certain death for any Martians. The planet is decimated after this Martian invasion.

《世界大战》讲述了火星人乘坐高大的、带有狭窄触手状腿的机器入侵地球的故事。这些外星生物吞食人类受害者,同时火星的植被传播了一种红色的杂草,感染了地球。最终,由于地球上的细菌,火星人开始逐渐灭绝。因为在火星上他们没有细菌,对人类最无害的细菌对火星人来说会成为百分之百的致命威胁。在这次火星人入侵之后,这颗星球遭受了严重的破坏。
